Bill Stoecker grew up on Cooper Lane in East Hampton, where he lives now with his own family.
After university, Bill began his career in the financial markets with E.F. Hutton on Wall Street. He was quickly promoted and moved to Bahrain to manage their Middle Eastern operation. Trading multi-million dollar accounts for high net worth individuals and institutions resulted in a life long interest in markets and investors. Bill then joined Continental Bank in London as head of a foreign exchange and derivatives unit.
Eventually, the desire to return to the United States convinced him that it was time to hang up his pinstriped suits. He and his wife, Paige, decided that East Hampton, where Bill had a house built next to his childhood home, was the place to settle and raise their young family.
Over the past dozen years, Bill built his business at Dayton Real Estate which has since become part of the Corcoran Group and where he was consistently one of the top three producers. That company soon became a large corporate entity, not the local small firm that originally had attracted him. He is proud of the fact that his business consists primarily of repeat clients and referrals. The power of the internet and his determination to stay on the leading edge of the real estate industry play a major role in his continued success. He is recognized by his colleagues, clients and the community as discreet, trustworthy, and tireless.
